Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and vou. By creating an account or using vou, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use vou.

You must be 18+

vou is available only to people who are 18 years or older. By using vou you confirm that you are at least 18.

What vou is

vou is a tool to plan trips and hangouts with friends — voting on dates, choosing places, building an itinerary, splitting costs, and keeping memories. vou is not a travel agency, a booking service, or a payment processor. When you settle up, vou simply shows your friends' own payment handles (Venmo, Cash App, Zelle) as links — you pay each other directly, and vou never holds, moves, or guarantees any money. Reservations, bookings, and any third-party purchases are between you and those providers.

Your account

You're responsible for your account and for the activity on it. Keep your login secure and give us accurate information. You can delete your account anytime from Profile → Danger zone.

Your content

You keep ownership of the plans, places, photos, and other content you add. You grant vou permission to host and display that content to run the service — including showing it to the members of plans you share it with. Don't post content that's illegal, infringing, hateful, or that violates others' privacy, and only add other people's information (or photos of them) when you have the right to.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse vou — no attempting to break, overload, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data, and no using vou to harass or harm others. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.

Third-party services

vou relies on third parties (e.g. Google Maps and Calendar, and payment apps you choose to link). Your use of those is subject to their own terms, and we're not responsible for them.

Beta & "as is"

vou is offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis and is actively being built — features may change or break. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any plans, bookings, payments, or events that don't go as hoped. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us (which, while vou is free, is zero).

Changes & termination

We may update these terms as vou evolves; we'll update the date above and, for material changes, let you know in the app. You may stop using vou at any time, and we may suspend or end access if these terms are violated.
